Datarepository referring to the manuscript "Effects of parameter indeterminancy in pelagic biogeochemical modules of Earth System Models on projections into a warming future: the scale of the problem", U. Loeptien and H. Dietze The model data are provided in NetCDF-formate. 1) Source code (source.tar) and compile scripts for the spinup, the drift-run and the rcp8.5-scenario (mk.in_spinup, mk.in_driftrun, mk.in_scenario, resp.). The source code is password protected as it requires registration at http://climate.uvic.ca/model/. The password will be provided upon request (uloeptien@geomar.de). 2) Initial restart (restart.nc) and all other required input data (data.zip) 3) Model output at the end of the 3000-year spinups for the reference setup (tavg_endspinup_ref.nc), the simulation based on parameter set OPTI1 (tavg_endspinup_opti1.nc) and the simulation based on parameter set OPTI2 (tavg_endspinup_opti2.nc). The files contain a full seasonal cycle of 5-daily output. 4) Model output of the RCP8.5 scenario simulations for the reference simulation (tavg.01801.01.01_rcp8.5_ref,nc), for the parameter set OPTI1 (tavg.01801.01.01_rcp8.5_opti1,nc) and for the parameter set OPTI2 (tavg.01801.01.01_rcp8.5_opti2,nc). All files contain yearly averages. 5) The synthetic observations of phytoplankton (synthetic_obs_phyt.nc) and nitrate (synthetic_obs_no3.nc). The files contain a full seasonal cycle of 5-daily surface values disrupted by noise.
